Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Evaluations

I’m excited to announce that I’m now offering ADHD evaluations for children, teens and adults. Identifying ADHD can be challenging, it can be difficult to know the differences between normal behavior and symptoms of ADHD. Through a comprehensive evaluation process, I’m here to assist you in gaining clarity and understanding.

The typical ADHD evaluation will span over the course of multiple appointments, totaling approximately three hours or more. To ensure a thorough assessment, I utilize a variety of techniques and strategies. These include:

• An initial family meeting to introduce ourselves and establish a comfortable environment.

• Completing a range of online and paper measures/assessments, which will be filled out by parents, the child, and teachers involved in the child's life.

• A parents-only meeting, allowing you to express your concerns openly while discussing your child's behavior and family history in detail.

• A separate meeting dedicated to meeting with your child individually, aimed at understanding their perspective. The duration of this meeting will depend on the age of your child, ranging from a brief introduction to a more substantial hour-long appointment.

• Finally, we will hold a feedback appointment where we will discuss the evaluation results and provide you with comprehensive recommendations.
  

  My evaluation process aims to provide you with the insights and support necessary to make informed decisions and develop appropriate interventions. If you suspect that your child may have ADHD, I encourage you to contact me for further information or to schedule an evaluation.

Note: My hourly fee for ADHD evaluations is $200/hr. This is to include time spent scoring and interpreting measures and writing reports/school recommendations.
