Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, or any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Is this virtual or in-person?

I’m offering both in-person and virtual appointments!

Where is your office located?

My office is located at the AGC building in South Lake Union, behind the Starbucks. The address is: 1200 Westlake Ave N, Suite 510, Seattle, WA 98109

There is very affordable parking outside. If you schedule an appointment, you’ll receive more specific instructions on parking and how to find the office.

What is an associate license?

An associate level license means that I have completed all of my education requirements and that I am in the process of obtaining experience in order to work independently. I have a supervisor that I meet with on a weekly basis to improve my skills as a therapist and provide the best possible care to clients.

How do I get started? What can I expect?

I always begin with a 15-minute consultation call either by phone or video. This will give us time to get to know each other and for you to decide if I’m someone you’re interested in working with. If you decide to schedule with me, we will meet for a 90-minute intake session. During an intake session, we’ll meet all together (teen and parents) and then I’ll meet individually with the teen followed by parents individually. We’ll use this time to go into detail about what you’ve been going through and what you’re looking for help on or how you’d like your life to be. The first 3-4 individual sessions are to help us get a clear understanding of the problem you’re encountering and to develop a treatment plan for how we can achieve your goals. Sometimes, I might decide that I’m not the best person to work with you. In these cases, I’ll offer you referrals and resources to get you connected to those who will best fit your needs.

If you decide you’d like to get started with me or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out by phone (text is okay) or by email.
